Practitioner mental health care youth
The Praktijkondersteuner GGZ Jeugd (POH GGZ Jeugd) holds consulting hours and can give advice on psychological and social problems in young people and parenting questions. A referral to the POH GGZ Jeugd is made via the GP.
The POH GGZ Youth is ready to listen, offer guidance and help with questions or concerns related to:
- Well-being at home or school (including resilience, bullying, learning difficulties, problems at home);
- Social contacts (e.g. having wrong or no friends at all);
- Psychological well-being (including anxiety issues, eating problems, gloom, mild depression);
- Behavioural problems;
- Specific adolescent problems;
- A gaming and/or other addiction.
The POH GGZ Jeugd may have a number of conversations with you and/or your child herself. If necessary, together and in consultation with the GP, you will look at options for further specialist help and support.
