The term 'social domain' encompasses the whole of government efforts in the areas of work, participation and self-reliance, care and youth, based on the Youth Act, the Wmo (Social Support Act), the Participation Act and the WIA (Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act), among others.
The social domain is of great importance because it focuses on supporting and improving people's well-being. It provides support to people who need it.
