Do you get your medicine at the pharmacy, but from a different brand? Perhaps the pharmacy has replaced your brand of medicine with an unbranded medicine. Or you are given an unbranded medicine from a different manufacturer. This is often because:

  • Your health insurer's terms and conditions have changed.
  • The patent of the brand of your medicine has expired.
  • The brand of your medicine is temporarily unavailable or is going off the market altogether.
